Two features poised for production as official Spanish co-productions, a holiday film in active development, a boundary-breaking dual-format TV series, a proprietary AI-driven reality format heading to buyers, a workplace comedy in submission, and an animation project in development.

I Set for Production

Birdeye

Feature Film — Psychological Espionage Thriller

A prodigy cellist discovers that the music she has devoted her life to mastering contains hidden intelligence codes — a covert architecture embedded across decades of composition. Following the notes deeper into a world of espionage and buried power, she must decide how much truth she can survive.

Recognition: Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Film Festival, New York International Film Festival, Los Angeles International Film Festival, The CineStory Foundation.

II Set for Production

Raising
the Dead

Feature Film — Thriller / Mystery Drama

A woman is drawn back to the Canary Islands after the discovery of her murdered mother's remains. What begins as a search for justice spirals into a maze of buried family history and a truth far more dangerous than the crime itself.

Shot entirely in the Canary Islands. Structured to maximize Spain's Art. 36.2 production incentive. A story that belongs, wholly, to the landscape that holds it.

Production Canary Islands — Full Shoot
Talent Rosario Dawson (committed, subject to financing)

Window

Unscripted Television — Dating Competition Format

An earth-shattering commentary on catfishing — reimagined as a prime-time dating competition. Contestants navigate a world where the line between genuine human connection and convincing imitation has never been thinner, and the stakes of getting it wrong have never been higher.

Layered with a proprietary viewer-participation scoring system and a shoppable companion experience built around each episode. Format Bible complete.

Clock
Blocker

Feature Film — Workplace Comedy

A razor-sharp workplace comedy that takes on the last acceptable prejudice in corporate America: ageism. When a seasoned executive discovers he is being quietly phased out in favor of a generation that can’t remember a world before the internet, he decides to fight back on their terms.

Funny, fierce, and furious. A film for everyone who has ever been told they are too much of something the room no longer values.

Double
Vision

TV Series — Dual-Format Love Story

One love story. Two entirely different movies playing simultaneously. Double Vision tells the same romance at the same time — first as a Hollywood romantic comedy, then as a Bollywood musical — with both versions living inside a single series.

A formally daring, commercially immediate concept that creates built-in cultural crossover, dual-market reach, and an experience unlike anything currently on air.

Santa

Feature Film — Holiday Comedy

Everyone believes in Santa. But what happens when Santa doesn't believe in himself anymore? A warm, sharp, and unexpectedly moving holiday comedy about identity, reinvention, and the magic that only works when someone chooses to believe in it.

A holiday film with a genuine secret underneath the tinsel. Built for the platform and network audiences that want to feel something real.

The People Behind the Work

Creators

Symbiotic Pictures is the production entity of Michael Salort and Micah Joyce Walsh — two seasoned creatives who have spent careers at the intersection of storytelling, commerce, and cultural momentum.

Michael ran Tyra Banks' media company, Bankable Enterprises, where he ghostwrote her New York Times bestselling novel Modelland. His screenwriting has earned Emmy nomination and recognition from the Nicholl Fellowship, the Austin Film Festival, the New York International Film Festival, the Los Angeles International Film Festival, and The CineStory Foundation. Earlier in his career, Michael held C-level executive roles at Unicast, one of the pioneers of digital advertising.

Micah Joyce Walsh is co-writer of BIRDEYE, producer of the Met Gala, and a direct descendant of James Joyce — one of the most celebrated and influential authors in the English literary canon. Her career spans producing, writing, and directing across major media companies, bringing to every project a rare fusion of cultural authority and operational mastery. Together, Micah and Michael develop projects that live at the edge of genre — where tone, intelligence, and visceral storytelling fuse into something that defies easy categorization.
