Espionage Thriller · Feature Film
Written by Michael Salort & Micah Joyce Walsh
"In a legendary music capital, a musician with extraordinary skills discovers an ability to hear secret messages embedded in music — and uncovers a sinister plot that threatens the world as we know it."
Birdeye follows Brigitte Martin (24), a cellist whose extraordinary skills give her the ability to perceive hidden codes within musical compositions. When she uncovers a covert plot to kill the world's industry leaders, she reluctantly embarks on a perilous journey — navigating the underbelly of the international music scene and the underworld of the most lethal criminal organization on the planet, The Flock.
Industry Reception
The blend of a music-based plot with a thriller involving terrorism and political intrigue is quite original. Strong marketability potential in a climate that values diverse narratives and complex, character-driven stories.
Industry Coverage
Strongly RecommendBirdeye feels like a European arthouse thriller that accidentally learned how to entertain an audience. The sensory POV is immersive and emotionally devastating. It has identity. It has confidence. It has a soul.
Producer Coverage
This is one of those rare scripts that feels dangerous in a good way. A cerebral thriller that doesn't apologize for being smart and strange. Prestige with teeth. I'd greenlight this knowing it won't please everyone — which is exactly why it matters.

Script Excerpt
EXT. SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA — SPAIN — SUMMER MORNING
An unusually gloomy day in a city preserved from Roman
times. Storm clouds loom above the ancient Igreja de
San Fructuoso church. Its weathered stones drip with
sadness.
PRIEST (V.O.)
Violeta Frontera Del Dios died as she lived.
In peace. In the village she called home...
ANNA AVILES (28) stands among the mourners. Her
exceptional beauty and faraway look suggest she
doesn't belong here. She holds the hand of her
daughter YAZMIN (6), who kicks at a worm near her
feet.
With a final, desperate yank — the ground beneath
the Grave Digger collapses. The coffin crashes in.
A SCREAM pierces the silence.
From the collapsed earth, three feet into the hole,
a SKELETAL HAND with an EMERALD RING is revealed.
Anna steps forward, her shock turning to recognition.
INT. AUNT VIOLETA'S HOUSE — 1960 — FLASHBACK
EIGHT-YEAR-OLD ANNA stands before a vanity mirror.
CONCHITA AVILES (29) steps behind her, brushing
her hair — stunningly beautiful in a turquoise
dress. The EMERALD RING catches a ray of light.
END FLASHBACK
Shreds of aged turquoise fabric cling to the
skeletal wrist.
Anna is seeing a ghost.
